Introduction to Warship Royale

Players command fleets of warships in a head to head contest. The game supports two to six contenders. Computer plays some opponents. Each participant picks a vessel design matching personal taste. Options span modern battleships and classic sailing boats as well as creature shaped crafts or kayaks. The grid measures ten by ten or twelve by twelve or fifteen by fifteen squares.

Standard mode uses simple steps. Players receive ship cards at the start. Four or five cards enter play based on group size. Each person discards two. Their fleets shrink to three ships or two ships. A dice roll sets the number of shots per turn. Shots land on the grid. Hits sink enemy vessels. The final strike yields a bonus shot. Only one contender with surviving ships walks away with victory.

Advanced mode brings extra tactics. Each person keeps a submarine card. Subs hide underwater. They surface to fire on rivals. Players launch a sonar sweep to spot hidden vessels. Each sweep works once per match. Dice rolls follow sonar or players skip it. All shots resolve at the same time. Sinking a vessel grants bonus cards. Those cards offer extra shots or fresh sonar scans. Only one player remains with ships afloat at the close.
