Players encounter twenty-two unique tower designs. Upgrades open fresh firing patterns and special attacks. Heroes arrive as powerful combatants. These units gain experience through battle and learn new techniques at each level. Choosing the right upgrade path adds a tactical edge.
Standard mode tests survival across a fixed run of rounds. Deflation mode gives a set budget and refuses any extra funds. Apocalypse mode brings waves of bloon clusters with growing resistance. Sandbox mode offers unlimited resources for trying different strategies. Unstoppable mode gives players few lives and one small error brings the run to an end. After each game, players earn both currency and experience to spend on tower upgrades and new skills.
