A Radish Dad Searches for His Children

Dadish is a platform game about a father who also happens to be a radish. His children wander away from the vegetable patch, leaving Dadish with the job of finding every missing baby radish.

You guide Dadish through side-view levels filled with platforms, pits, spikes, moving hazards, and enemies. The controls focus on moving and jumping. That sounds simple, but later stages require careful timing.

The goal of each normal level is to reach Dadish’s missing child. Finding the baby radish starts a short conversation between father and child. These conversations add humor to the adventure and give each rescue a little personality.

Dadish includes dozens of stages spread across several different areas. Each place introduces new layouts and dangers instead of repeating the same obstacle course.

Watch Out for Fast-Food Enemies

The enemies in Dadish fit the game’s strange food theme. Burgers, hot dogs, and other fast-food creatures try to stop the vegetable hero.

Dadish cannot simply fight every normal enemy with an attack button. Movement matters more. You need to watch how an enemy moves and choose the right moment to jump past it.

Hazards can also appear around platforms. A safe-looking landing spot may sit beside spikes or another danger. Moving platforms add another timing challenge because you need to judge where they will be when Dadish lands.

Some stages hide collectible stars. Reaching the child completes the main task, but finding the star gives players another reason to explore a level carefully.

Face a Boss at the End of Each Area

Dadish also includes boss fights. These larger enemies appear after you work through the regular stages in an area.

Boss battles still rely heavily on movement and timing. You need to learn the enemy’s pattern and find safe places to stand or jump. Rushing toward a boss without watching its attacks usually ends the attempt quickly.

The original Dadish grows from easier introductory stages into more demanding platform challenges. Jumps become tighter and obstacles start appearing in combinations. The simple control system stays the same, so improvement comes from learning how far Dadish jumps and when to move.

Dadish keeps its story light throughout the adventure. The missing children often have something funny or unexpected to say after Dadish finally reaches them.

The combination of short levels, collectible stars, food-themed enemies, boss battles, and funny conversations gives Dadish more variety than its simple controls suggest. Every stage brings the same basic mission back into focus: survive the obstacles and reunite a tired radish father with another one of his wandering children.
